Dana has always had a love for animals, and has cherished the way our pets make our lives feel more whole.

After losing Zigi in 2024, she started painting the pets of her friends, family, and neighbor's because it helped her untangle the deep grief that she was feeling, to find community, and to continue the bond they shared.
​
It started with simple illustrations, and slowly evolved into realistically stylized portraits, symbolic color and flowers, and eventually larger sizing and deluxe frames!

Dana, like Zigi, always finds ways to connect with her subject, but kindly asks for high quality photos, and you to answer a few questions about your beloved before she begins.
